SIM packs at the front desk, from first order to reorder
Keep SIM packs behind the front desk, ask at check-in, check the phone, and charge the pack to the room.
Short answer: A front desk sells SIM packs like any item behind the desk. The work is in four habits: the right stock, one question at check-in, a phone check before the sale, and a monthly reorder.

- Packs in a drawer by destination
- A phone check before each sale
- Charged to the room
From the drawer to the folio in four steps.

Stock the desk
Order packs for the countries your guests come from and travel on to. Keep them in a drawer behind the desk, by destination.

- Packs in stock per destination
Ask at check-in
Staff ask one question with the room key: do you need data for your stay? A yes leads to the phone check.
- Trigger
- A guest from abroad checks in
- Measure
- Offers per 100 check-ins
Check the phone and sell
Staff check that the phone is unlocked and has a SIM slot, hand over the pack, and charge it to the room. A phone without a SIM slot gets an eSIM voucher.

Before you choose
Short answers to the common questions. The partner agreement sets the final terms.
How many packs do we start with?
Start small: ten to twenty packs for each of your top three destinations. The partner agreement sets the order size.
Can we charge the pack to the room?
Yes. Add the pack as an item in your property system and post it to the folio like any other item.
What if the phone is locked?
A locked phone does not take the RoamWorks SIM. Offer the hotel Wi-Fi, and suggest that the guest asks the home carrier to unlock the phone.
What happens to unsold packs?
The partner agreement sets the terms for unsold packs. Each pack shows the last date to activate it.
