The RoamWorks Hotspot is a pocket 4G Cat4 hotspot with a 3000mAh battery and a RoamWorks eSIM inside. Up to 10 phones, tablets, and laptops share one plan, with no phone check. It takes a SIM pack too. Sell it or rent it to your guests.

How it works

Run the hotspot line.

A family in a rental car, a small guided group, or a team on the road. Four jobs for the desk: stock, rate and handover, support, reset. Pick a step to see it.

01 / Step

Stock the hotspots and plans

Order hotspots and the plans for your top destinations before the season. Each hotspot arrives with a RoamWorks eSIM installed.

What you get

What you get.

01 / Included

Up to 10 devices on one plan

Phones, tablets, and laptops join the hotspot Wi-Fi at about 3 to 10 m. A family, a car, or a small team shares one plan.

02 / Included

No phone check

Any device with Wi-Fi joins, also a locked phone or a phone without eSIM. The hotspot holds the plan, not the phone.

03 / Included

eSIM inside, SIM slot too

Each hotspot arrives with a RoamWorks eSIM installed. The unlocked 3G and 4G device also takes a RoamWorks SIM pack.

04 / Included

Sell it or rent it out

Sell the hotspot with a plan, or rent it for the trip and take it back. You set the price, the rental rate, and the deposit.

05 / Included

A new plan for each trip

The next trip gets a new eSIM or a SIM pack. The same eSIM cannot get more data.

06 / Included

Pocket 4G, 3000mAh

A Cat4 4G radio with up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, and a 3000mAh battery. Charge it for 4 hours before the first use.

Fit check

Will it work with the phone?

Two checks decide the format. eSIM support varies by model and region; confirm it in the phone settings.

Does it support eSIM?

Needs and limits

What it needs. What it does not do.

It needs

  • A RoamWorks plan for the destination.
  • Power: a 4-hour first charge, then charge the hotspot between trips.
  • Your own rental terms: the rate, the deposit, and the return.
  • Devices with Wi-Fi: phones, tablets, and laptops.

It does not

  • No calls or SMS. The plans are data only.
  • No signal where the local mobile networks do not reach, and no data at sea.
  • The same eSIM cannot get more data. The next trip gets a new eSIM or a SIM pack.
  • RoamWorks does not run your rentals. Your desk hands over the hotspot and takes it back.

Does the phone need to be unlocked?

No. A phone joins the hotspot over Wi-Fi, so a locked phone or a phone without eSIM gets data too. The hotspot holds the plan.

How many devices can share one hotspot?

Up to 10 phones, tablets, and laptops at the same time. They share the data of one plan.

How does a hotspot get more data?

With a new plan: a new RoamWorks eSIM on the hotspot, or a SIM pack in its slot. The same eSIM cannot get more data today.

Can we rent hotspots to our guests?

Yes. Rent a hotspot for the trip and take it back at the desk. You set the rental rate, the deposit, and the return terms. Each new rental gets a new plan.

Where does the hotspot work?

Where its RoamWorks plan covers the destination and a local mobile network reaches. At sea, use the ship Wi-Fi.

What are the hotspot specs?

4G LTE Cat4, up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, a 3000mAh battery, and Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices at about 3 to 10 m. The device is 98 × 58 × 15 mm, unlocked for 3G and 4G, takes an eSIM and a SIM pack, and needs a 4-hour charge before the first use. The network and the signal set the real speed.

Who handles support?

Your desk answers the first question. RoamWorks handles the plan, the activation, and the network.
