SIM and eSIM for travel agencies

Add data to the quote, next to the insurance. Send the eSIM voucher with the final documents, or hand over a SIM pack at the branch.

Short answer: The advisor offers data when the client books and records the answer on the booking. A phone that supports eSIM gets a one-time code with the final documents. A phone with only a SIM slot gets a SIM pack at the branch. Both go on your invoice, at your price.

Answers

Before you choose

Short answers to the common questions. The partner agreement sets the final terms.

Last updated 28 October 2026 · Reviewed by Roamworks
How does the advisor check the phone?

Ask two questions at the booking: is the phone unlocked, and does it support eSIM? A phone with only a SIM slot gets a SIM pack. A locked phone gets no sale until it is unlocked.

Can a home-based advisor sell it?

Yes. A home-based advisor sends eSIM vouchers by email, and can keep a few SIM packs for the clients they meet. No pack goes by mail.

Does the client get a local number?

No. The plan is data only. Calls and messages work through apps on the data.

Who helps the traveler with the install?

The partner agreement sets the split. For example, you answer questions about the booking, and RoamWorks handles activation and the network.
