SIM packs and eSIM at the phone counter

Check the phone, hand over a SIM pack for a SIM slot, and install the eSIM during the phone setup.

Short answer: Travel data at the phone counter starts with one question about the next trip. Staff check the phone, hand over a SIM pack or help install the eSIM on the store Wi-Fi, and restock the packs that sell.

  • A phone check before each sale
  • Packs for a SIM slot
  • eSIM at the phone setup

What do staff check?

That the phone is unlocked, and whether it supports eSIM or has a SIM slot. The answer sets the format.

Can staff install the eSIM?

The customer redeems the one-time code on the phone, and staff help with the install on the store Wi-Fi.

What if the phone has one SIM slot?

The SIM pack replaces the home SIM for the trip. The customer keeps the home SIM safe and puts it back at home.

Which packs should we stock?
