Welcome data for international students

Send the one-time code with the arrival guide, help at the orientation desk, and hand out SIM packs for phones without eSIM.

Short answer: A welcome plan starts in the arrival guide and ends with a local line. The international office sends the code, reminds before the flight, helps at the orientation desk, and points to a local line in week 4.

  • The code before the flight
  • Help at orientation
  • A local line by week 4
The flow

In the arrival guide, before the flight, online on day one.

Four steps from the arrival guide to week 4. Pick one to see it.

01 / Step

Send the code with the arrival guide

Two weeks before the term, the arrival guide carries the one-time code and the install steps. The student installs at home on Wi-Fi.

Good to know
  • Data only, with no local number. A long stay needs a local line.
  • A locked phone takes neither a SIM pack nor an eSIM. Point the student to the campus Wi-Fi.
  • Send the code by email or in the student portal, never on paper.
  • Check the local rules for SIM sales at the orientation desk.
