eSIM for a yacht season, area by area

Send the code with the joining instructions, then a new eSIM each 30 days and for each new area.

Short answer: A yacht season with data starts with the season plan and follows the yacht from area to area. The yacht buys the codes, the crew installs before the flight, and a new eSIM covers each 30 days and each new area.

  • The code with the joining instructions
  • A new eSIM every 30 days
  • A plan for each cruising area

Good to know
  • Data only, with no local number.
  • The plan works ashore and near the coast, not offshore.
  • Each further 30 days is a new eSIM, with no limit on the number.
  • Labelled packs ship with the season order, never by mail to a crew member.

When does the crew member get the code?

With the joining instructions. The crew member installs it on Wi-Fi before the flight.

What happens when the yacht moves to a new area?

Each crew member gets a new eSIM for the countries of the new area. One regional plan covers a cruise across borders in one region.

What if a phone has no eSIM?

Order labelled SIM packs with the season order. The yacht hands them out on board, after a phone check.

Does the plan work offshore?

No. The plan works ashore and near the coast. Offshore, the crew uses the yacht Wi-Fi.
